Beats and transitions are something I notice new composers really struggle with - and I did too when I was starting out - but they're actually easy to learn how to work with.

The Understanding Beats and Transitions Masterclass
will be led by me, Aoife O'Leary.
You know me well by now - I'm a film composer, artist, and producer from Dublin, Ireland.
With a background in singing and songwriting, I transitioned to film scoring and, without formal music training, have composed for four feature films, including Cult Killer with Antonio Banderas and Guns Up starring Kevin James.
My latest film, Speed Demon, releases in a few days on May 31st (so exciting!!)
When scoring came on my radar, I committed to mastering the craft from scratch. That dedication led to Intro to Scoring - a course designed to help other musicians and producers break into film scoring regardless of their musical background - and now into our Intro to Scoring Community, which has been a beautiful and unexpected blessing on my journey.
