Meet Your Guide... Aoife O’Leary
Aoife O’Leary is a film composer and producer from Dublin, Ireland. Aoife’s background is in singing, songwriting and performance, and after many years recording and touring - and being dependent on others to create music - she decided to learn to produce for herself. Just one short year after she started her production journey she landed her first feature film!! Sounds crazy, but it’s absolutely true! Fast forward to now, and Aoife has scored four full-length movies, including Hulu’s #1 hit Cult Killer (starring Antonio Banderas) and the crime/action/comedyGuns Up, starring Kevin James and Christina Ricci.
Aoife did all of this without being able to read or write music, with no music education background and without even being able to play an instrument!
Over the past couple of years, alongside composing, Aoife has been creating the course Intro to Scoring to walk you, step-by-step, through the process of scoring and help set YOU up to break into the exciting world of scoring too - no matter your musical background.
