(Days 0 - 6)
You'll get access to Module 1 and I'll outline how Scoring Mastery will run, providing you with all the details about your scoring assignments.
You’ll receive valuable tips on scoring techniques, and I’ll highlight some exciting prep work to help get you ready for an amazing mentorship experience.

Week 2
(Days 7 - 13)
You'll get access to Module 2, and your first short film and Scoring Assignment - Comedy.
I’ll give you some suggestions and ideas - like a mini spotting session - for approaches to your scoring, guidance about what to emphasize., and I’ll provide some tips for scoring for comedy in general.
And of course, you’ll get to download your files and begin scoring - and you'll have a full 7 days to compose for this assignment!
Week 3
(Days 14 - 20)
On day 1 4you'll be submitting your first assignment.
I'll take days 15 & 16 to review it and return my feedback to you.
You'll then have days 17 - 20 to return to your cue and make any adjustments based on my feedback, or you can choose to take a break before your next assignment begins.
Week 4
(Days 21 - 27)
You'll get access to Module 3, and your next short film and Scoring Assignment - Drama.
I’ll share ideas and suggestions for scoring this 2-minute short film, filled with dramatic themes, tension, and ultimately a motivational tone. I’ll give you suggestions for instrumentation and what to emphasize, and tips about scoring for drama in general.
Then you can download your files and being scoring your cue. As before, you'll have a full 7 days to compose for this assignment!
Week 5
(Days 28 - 34)
On day 28 you'll be submitting your second assignment.
I'll take days 29 & 30 to review it and return my feedback to you.
You'll then have days 31 - 34 to return to your cue and make any adjustments based on my feedback, or you can choose to take a break before your next assignment begins.
Week 6
(Days 35 - 41)
You'll get access to Module 4, and your final short film and Scoring Assignment - Animation.
This is funny and heartwarming and exciting and brilliant! I’ll share tips about the scoring opportunities here - lots of potential for quick changes, lightness and playfulness. And, of course, I’ll give you tips for scoring comedy in general.
Then you get to dive into scoring this animation, and you'll have a full 7 days to compose for this assignment!
Week 7
(Days 42 - 48)
On day 42 you'll be submitting your second assignment.
I'll take days 43 & 44 to review it and return my feedback to you.
You'll then have days 45 - 48 to return to your cue and make any adjustments based on my feedback, or review anything else from Scoring Mastery.
Day 49
On the final day of Scoring Mastery you get to claim your "I Am A Composer" coffee mug!
This will remind you of both your achievement and your path as a composer every single day!
